The weight :
The weight is one of the most important criteria because if it is too high for you it can lead to injuries such as tendonitis, but it is also a question of maneuverability. Indeed, a 280 gram racquet will be more manageable than a 320 gram racquet. So, if you are a young player (between 13 and 16 years old) or a beginner player, it is better for you to choose a relatively light racquet around 255-280 grams. Then it all depends on your style of play. For offensive players who like to hit hard, a heavier racquet would be more suitable. (290 grams or more) You should also know that rackets weighing more than 300 grams are reserved for competitive players.

Head size:
The larger the head size of a racquet, the larger the perfect surface to hit the ball and therefore the more centering errors are forgiven, to the detriment of precision and control. Also, large head sizes (>100ft²) increase power but decrease control. This is why it is recommended for beginners but also for good players who play with a lot of spin. On the contrary, small heads (about 98 ft²) reduce power but increase control, so they are rather recommended for good players with a flat shot and who center their ball well.

The size of the handle:

Choosing the right handle size is complex and very important at the same time, indeed, it is quite embarrassing to play with a handle that is too small and playing with a handle that is too wide can lead to injuries such as tendonitis. So here is a little technique to choose the right size of your handle: Take a racket in hand. Between your middle finger and your palm, there should be enough space to slide a finger or a little less, about 1 cm. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one, you can slightly increase the thickness with an overgrip.
